In this week’s edition of tech news from China, we’ll be covering the details of TCL ONO Android phone and Teclast X70 tablet. There were many handsets introduced in China this week (from 3rd to 10th May) and ONO is the most impressive one.
TCL, the company who owns world renowned brand Alcatel has launched a new handset named ONO for 95 dollars (below 100 or 6000 in India). This device has better specs than the likes of Moto E, Asus Zenfone 4 and other devices that are retailing offline or online within 90 to 100$ price range. ONO is available on some Chinese eCommerce sites in yellow, light blue and white color options.
This handset offers a 5 inch IPS high-definition (1280 x 720 pixels resolution) display. It has amazing camera specifications. The backside flaunts a high-resolution camera with 13 million pixel sensor.
Above its 5 inch screen and to the left side of the speaker, TCL has fitted a 5MP camera. PDAF technology based imaging system and LED flash have been added to the ONO phone.
This TCL Android mobile under 100 dollars has Mediatek 64 bit processor, 4G-LTE module, 16GB storage memory, 2650 mAh battery, and 2GB RAM.
The latest Teclast X70 tablet features the latest ATOM series X3 CPU from Intel. This processor consumes lower power than all other atom series chips.
X70 is the first computing device with X5 CPU. It carries a price tag of just 50 dollars Thus, you can say that X70 is an entry-level Android tablet.
This tablet from China comes with an HD 7 inch IPS display and it comes preloaded with Kit Kat OS. It ships with just 512 megabytes of system memory. Interestingly, Teclast has added 3G connectivity option in X70. It has stuffed a 4GB ROM module, Bluetooth, WiFi, 1000 megahertz dual-core processor in this tablet. For imaging, there’s VGA front and 2 MP back camera.
