With soaring revenues of top eCommerce businesses, the internet companies are indulging themselves in experiments to further increase profits. It started with Amazons launch of Kindle fire series of tablets. The company has also launched its latest fire smartphone to compete with the likes of devices from Samsung, HTC, LG, Google, Nokia. Indian eTailer Flipkart had launched the DigiFlip tablet. Now Snapdeal has revealed 2 new devices named Alpha feather and Click Pro Oculus through its innovative launchpad platform. Alpha feather from Snapdeal is a Google Android 4.4.2 kit kat OS running device with 2 Sim slots. It has a quad core 1.3 GHz chipset packed in it’s rigid body along with a 2GB of RAM. The weight of this smartphones body is just 125 grams. It is encompassed with a full HD 1080p display of 5 inch size. Alha feather gets electric current through a 2500 mAh battery and it supports various connectivity options like GPS, EDGE, 3G and 2G. For storage expansion, there’s a microSD card slot too. The phone supports full high definition and 720p video playback. For imaging, this device has a 8MP back and a 13MP front facing camera. The 4GB storage ROM packed in this phone is more than sufficient to host any of your favorite Android apps. It is priced around 12900 to 13000 Rs.

Along with this phone, Snapdeal has also launched its 12 MP sensor and 1.5 inch LCD screen equipped camera named Click Pro Oculus. The camera has nice specs and it can be owned for a price within 9500 to 10000 Rupees.

  1. Smartphone market is really competitive and you can see new phones are coming on each day with better specification and lower cost. I’m sure lots of people will be thinking to postpone their smartphone purchase so that they can get better phone at more lower cost. ;)
