Asus has unveiled the specifications of the Fonepad 8 voice calling tablet through its website. As per the official listing, this device will be available in the shades of red, black, gold and white colors. It packs with Glonass, assisted GPS navigation systems and a 15.29 Whr battery.

Asus has added a range of useful sensors to the Fonepad 8. The tablet has hall, proximity, light and g-sensor. Its 8 inch LED backlit IPS display comes with anti-fingerprint coating and 1280 x 800 resolution. This device has an Intel Atom 1330 MHz 64 bit dual core processor.

Its 8 or 16 GB flash storage houses the Android 4.4 Kit Kat OS. Asus Fonepad 8 features sonic soundmaster technology. Thus you can expect its speakers to deliver crystal clear high quality stereo sound. It supports Miracast, Bluetooth, WCDMA, HSPA+ and WiFi connectivity. Thus you can connect your Fonepad 8 with computer, phone or laptop.

This budget tablet supports file download and upload operations at 46 and 5.4 Mbps respectively. If offers 21 hours of HSPDA talk time.
