Zopo’s successor to its ZP998 plus phone will be soon launched in more than 30 countries. Labeled as ZP999, this Android 4.4 Kit Kat running handset features a 2200 MHz octa-core Mediatek MT6595M processor and a capacitive 5.5 inch touchscreen display. Thus ZP999 is expected to outperform its MTK6592 powered predecessor. This device from Zopo has 2700 mAh battery and a 5.0 megapixel front facing camera. It packs with 600 MHz rated PowerVR G6200 GPU. ZP999’s rear snapper is fitted with a F2.0 lens mounted 14 MP sensor and it captures FHD videos. This smartphone weighs 145 grams and it measures 5.96 x 3.0 x 0.36 inches in dimensions. It is compatible with TD + FDD LTE and WCDMA networks.
Zopo will introduce 2 variants of ZP999. The standard version will cost below 300$ and its screen carries a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It has 16GB of flash storage memory, microSD slot, FM Radio and 2GB of RAM. Priced around $330, Zopo ZP999 Pro packs with a 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM. Its display comes with 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Both standard and pro versions have the same design. They include Bluetooth, WiFi, 3.5 mm headphone jack and miroUSB port. They’ll rival Snapdragon 801 CPU and Adreno GPU packed IUNI U3, Huawei Honor 6 and OnePlus One in India.
