Panasonic may not have done as well as the company might had expected before entering into smartphone development but the company is trying hard to keep its mobile line updated with the latest technology. Panasonic has quad core, dual core phones in the markets and now the company is all set to launch an octa-core chipset powered device in the markets. Dubbed as P81, the specifications of this mobile has been unveiled but there’s no word on the price of the device yet. P81 from Panasonic has a very large 5.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive OGS touchscreen display of 265+ pixel density and a 720p screen resolution. Well, it would be wrong to label this device as a phablet. Anyways, the phone has a Mali 450 MP4 graphics and a 1.7 GHz MTK6592 octa core Mediatek processor. This phablet has a 1GB of main memory (RAM) and a 8GB of ROM. There’s a microSD card slot too with p81 which supports a 32GB card. It has a 2MP front facing camera, 13 MP rear camera with auto-focus, LED flash and a 2500 mAh lithium ION battery. The battery gives a good power backup to the phone. Panasonic P81 has GSM network support Dual Sim card slots. Running the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, P81 from Panasonic has Proximity, Ambient Light and accelerometer sensors. With these specs, we can expect the price of this device to be around 20K Rupees.
