Nokia Asha 515 and 501 are being sold in huge numbers in India/around the world. Both these devices share some common specifications like Dual SIM capability, 64 MB RAM, 1200 mAh battery, a single camera (rear camera), lack of support for GPS. The key points of differences between these two devices are display, camera resolution, storage capacity, network support in which the Nokia 515 is a full fledged 3G smartphone with 2.4 inch display, 256MB storage capacity and 5MP rear camera whereas the Asha 501 lacks the 3G functionality, has a 3.1MP rear camera, 128 MB data storage capability. This mobile has larger display (i.e 3.0” display with touchscreen) than 515. Talking about the price, 501 can be purchased from all shopping portals for a price in India around 4500-5500 Rupees and Asha 515 is expected to have a price around 6500-7500 Rupees. Nokia is doing a pretty good job with their Asha series. I really like all of their Asha phones, as they are efficient with a lot of features and also very economical. One of the most wonderful choices, when it comes to budget mobile phones. Anyways, thanks for this detailed post about their two new Asha phones.
