Intex Aqua Kat has replaced Aqua 3G as the cheapest UMTS/HSPDA smartphone in India. This new handset is priced 500 Rs less (Rs 3000) and it has a 10.16 cm display (4 inch). Thus making it a good alternative to HVGA phones having 3.5 inch or lower screen size.
This phone has MT6572 dual-core 1.0 GHz Mediatek processor. It comes with Android 4.4 Kit Kat operating system and 256 megabyte of system memory for multi-tasking. The RAM volume may not be enticing but it is much better than what you get in Nokia handsets in the sub 2500 to 3000 Rs range. The phone comes with 512 megabyte of on-board ROM.
