Last night, one of my friend requested me to load his USB drive with the Windows 8 OS as his DVD drive was damaged and the operating system had crashed. The drive, when plugged into the USB port on system start-up, must be able to run the Windows OS installer. This was his primary requirement. Well, this was not a big task for me as i had done this several times before for my personal use. I have a copy of original copy of the OS and i was not using it. Hence, i decided to help out my friend by handing him over the license as well as a USB that loads the Windows 0S installer on startup. This will help him re install the crashed OS. To create the USB, i used the windows 7 USB tool. Get more details on this free utility from Microsoft corporation here.
