Powershot line of high performance Canon cameras has been updated with 3 new compact devices - N2, SX60 and G7X. Each of these latest cameras have been designed for a specific purpose and they feature Digic 6 image processor. N2 is equipped with a LCD touch panel. It features self portrait and multi-angle modes. Thus it is well-suited for selfie addicts.
When user has taken a picture through this camera, he can easily share it on various social channels. Canon Powershot N2 can be coupled with a mobile device as it is enabled with WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth. It allows you to take pictures remotely.
With 8 x optical zoom, this snapper comes with zoom + shutter ring, OIS, 16.1 MP CMOS sensor and wide-angle 28.0 mm lens. It carries a $299.99 price tag (below 18000 in India).
If you love to capture distant objects or if you’re a passionate wild life photographer then you must have a look at the Powershot SX60.
This device features an optical image stabilizer coupled with an intelligent IS function. SX60 supports 65 times optical zoom. It also includes a zoom framing assist button. This camera has same sensor 16.1 megapixel CMOS sensor as the N2. It costs $550. Canon PowerShot G7 X is fitted with a 31 point AF system, f/1.8 - f/2.8 aperture lens and a CMOS 20.1 MP 1 inch sensor.
It has a 5 centimeter minimum focus distance and a 3.0 inch LCD. G7 X comes with the ability to record videos at 6.5 FPS. Just like the SX60 and N2, this camera supports NFC and 1080p video recording. It is priced in Rs 42000 to 43000 range in India.
