Looks like Micromax is working with one of India’s largest telecom service provider MTS to launch a CDMA + GSM network compatible smartphone in the country. This can be seen from the fact that Canvas Blaze has listed online on one of few of the popular online retailers in India. There’s no official confirmation on this phone from Micromax yet so we can’t really comment on when the canvas blade would be launched? Well, this smartphone is a dual Sim Canvas series model and will support CDMA network connectivity and its price should be around 10000 - 12000 Rs. Yesterday, Maxx had launched a 9999 Rs smartphone with WCDMA connectivity support.From this it seems like smartphone makers have now decided to flood the markets with CDMA+GSM models.Anyways, here are the specifications of this smartphone-
Micromax Canvas Blaze Specifications:-Unlike most of the Mixromax devices, the Canvas Blaze smartphone has 768 MB RAM. The storage is of 4GB which can expanded upto 36 GB with a MicroSD card. It would have Android jelly bean operating system installed along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core microprocessor of 1GHz clock speed. This device features a 8 megapixel rear camera (with image stabilization, geo tagging, LED flash ,. .etc) and a VGA front facing camera. For a budget price around 10000 - 12000 Rs, its memory, processor and camera specifications can be considered up to the mark. The display of Canvas blaze would be a 5 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 854 pixel screen resolution. It would come with inbuilt sensors like proximity, gyro, accelerometers and would have a 1850 mAh battery backup.

Micromax is becoming Samsung of India. Gone are the days, when Micromax was treated as some local brand. With so many good high end phones, they are growing very fast. I am sure this Micromax Canvas Blaze CDMA Mobile will be a successful launch.
