Tata Sky Karaoke Service to be launched on 20th February

The Indian DTH service provider TATA SKY has collaborated with Hungama to launch Karaoke service for its customers.The service would be in the form of a new channel named Active Karaoke. This channel can be activated on Tata Sky plus HD platform from 20th February onwards. The customers who wish to have Active Karaoke channel enabled would have to pay 1990 Rs for a mic and to keep the service activated for the entire year. This service would include monthly refreshed song/video library, videos with lyrics.The songs that would added would be the latest bollywood hits, romantic songs, hit songs of Shreya Ghoshal, Sony Nigam,. .etc.Active Karaoke will also come with its innovative sur meter.This sur meter will rate the signing ability of the user who uses this VAS.This would be the 9th Active channel on Tata’s HD DTH platform. As of now Tata sky has music, darshan , fun learn, vedic maths, cooking, english, doordarshan and smart games as Active channels. These channels are targeted towards all ages of population. At the official announcement of this new VAS, Mr Vikram Mehra, the COO of the company quoted “The love for singing and dancing is epitomized by Bollywood movies. Capitalizing on this sentiment, Karaoke enables our subscribers to share a few laughs and great moments with family and friends without the need for an occasion. Simply, tune into the service any time of the day for non-stop entertainment.”
