The iPhone lovers eagerly awaited the release of its models. And with their launch, many were happy whereas some disappointed faces were also seen. In India, the release date was decided for the 1st of November. The official Apple iPhone best price in India may differ from what they have to offer in many other countries. Both 5S and 5C will be offered by Reliance Communications on a 24-month contract for the base of 16GB.
Apple iPhone 5S: Bigger and Better Like Never Before
5S is a phone that looks a lot like its predecessor iPhone 5. But it goes an extra mile by incorporating many things under its hood. It is the kind of move, only Apple is capable of pulling off at such an ease. And it does succeed. It has used an older chassis, thrown in a new processor and given it a better camera and a better battery and a completely new TouchID home button. Everything has been improved with no end, without having to redesign the whole concept.
The 5S doesn’t have an “exclusive” design as it is almost like iPhone 5. But that doesn’t make it inferior in any way. The screen also uses the same retina display as was seen in iPhone 5. It is razor-sharp with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels and a pixel density of 326 dpi. The new 8 megapixels iSight camera is something you’ve never seen before. It has immaculate camera capabilities. The FaceTimeHD camera captures videos at 720p. 5S is the greatest phone. So, if you have been craving to upgrade your iPhone 5, go ahead and experience the action. 5S is much faster featuring a better camera and is available in a new champagne-gold color. And the most exciting part about it is that it features a finger-print scanner as we saw in Tom Cruise starrer movie Minority Report. 5S (16, 32, 64 GB) is available for Rs. 53,500, Rs. 62,500 and Rs. 71,500, respectively.
5C: It’s Cheaper, Yet Not-so-affordable
The newly launched 5C marks the new epoch in the Apple’s onslaught. Apple has finally broken out of its premium design and price and produced a phone that is “slightly” affordable. 5C comes with most of the internals we’ve seen earlier in iPhone 5. The main difference here is that, Apple now offers you to choose from different pop shades in the plastic body. Apple has put this varied palette for the first time ever. But, do the color and its plastic really make it desirable? There are marginal changes, such as- the new iOS7 processor, a better camera and a slightly bigger battery. And these are not reason enough for an upgrade.
Being a “budget iPhone”, it is quite amazing to see that Apple doesn’t compromise on its specs even after the minus of Apple’s signature metal chassis, but it is sure to blow you away with its blazing performance. 5C is completely a new departure. This is Apple’s not-really-affordable-but-a-bit-cheaper iPhone. Features exactly same as the iPhone 5 but available in colorful pink, blue, yellow, green and white. 5C (16, 32 GB) is available for Rs. 41,900 and Rs. 53,500 respectively.
About the Fingerprint Security
Apple has included the fingerprint scanner for the first time in 5S. It is time to know about your finger and its power to identify you. It’s an image capture system which quickly captures and stores the imprint of your finger. It is present just below the home button of iPhone 5. The sensor captures the image and the software analyses it for skin identification pattern on the fingertip and compares it to the pre-stored data. Apple calls the finger-scanning home button “TouchID”.
IOS7: Colorful, Flat and a Complete Change
The new iPhones are powered a newfangled software iOS7. This marks the biggest change till date in Apple’s mobiles. Older phones like 4S and iPhone 5 are also able to download the new iOS7. Users who updated to the new operating systems have benefitted from the enhancements made to Siri (Apple’s digital voice-activated personal assistant), a new interface to the Safari web browser and the camera app as well.
