Nokia Corporation has unveiled 2 brand new cheap phones-The Nokia 106 and Nokia 107. These two phones scheduled to be launched in the coming months and are expected to see huge sales.As we all know,Nokia is back on the track with the success of its Lumia Series of smartphones and with these 2 new cheap phones being scheduled to launch ,Nokia would be hoping to recapture the budget phone markets which it had lost to other local smartphone manufacturers.Anyways, these two brand new phones from Nokia would support features like 2G,FM Radio and would lack cameras and the 3G functionality-This is understandable as this phone is priced below 25$/2000 Rupees.Now lets look at the complete details of the Nokia 106 and the Nokia 107.
Nokia 106 specifications and price:-
This Nokia phone has a 384 Kilobyte (KB) main memory (RAM) and sports a 1.8” LCD Display (with pixels per inch around 114) .This phone
runs the native operating system of Nokia -The Nokia series 30 Operating System and is backed up by a 800 mAh battery which gives this phone a talk time up-to 10 hours and a total standby time of 35 days.The Nokia 106 phone weighs around 74 grams and measures 112.9 by 47.5 by 14.4 mm in dimensions ,supports 2G functionality and comes with a 3.5 mm Audio Jack.Apart from these features,the Nokia 106 has some useful apps and utilities installed for you .Nokia 106 lacks front and the rear camera,3G,Bluetooth,WiFi.

The is a DUAL SIM smartphone from Nokia that runs the same operating system as the Nokia 106-The Nokia Series 30 O.S.Nokia 017 comes with a main memory of 4 Megabytes (which is higher than the Nokia 106).This phone from Nokia is equipped with a 1020 mAh battery that gives this Nokia phone a total standby time around 23-24 days and a talk time around 12.8 hours .The display of Nokia 017 is almost the same as the Nokia 106 but weighs around 75.9 Grams which is slightly higher than Nokia 106.While the Nokia 106 lacks support for MicroSD card,Nokia 107′s internal storage can be expanded by a MicroSD card of 16GB.Nokia 107 comes with 2G functionality,FM Radio, 3.5 mm Audio Jack,MP3,MIDI playback ,measures 112.9 by 47.5 by 14.9 mm in dimension and lacks features like 3G,WiFi,Cameras.

Nice phones indeed, though we just got one for my children which might have a little more features than these, at a lower cost. But as they say that Nokia is a brand, and that really does matter, though for kids I think anything will do.
