The successor to the Nexus 4 would be officially announced in the coming weeks (maybe at the Google’s big bang event in October which is also the month in which first Android OS powered phone was sold-according to Wikipedia). This latest Nexus series smartphone’s display may use the Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Processor,Memory and OS:- Running the Android 4.4 Kit Kat Operating system and equipped with a 4 core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with a 2.3 GHz clock speed , Google Nexus 5 would come with 3/4 GB RAM ,a 16/32 GB data storage capacity and lacks support for the MicroSD card.

Camera :- Google Nexus 5 camera department is expected to have a 13 MP rear camera (with Image stabilization,F2.0 aperture,LED flash,GEO Tagging,…etc) which can record 1080p videos and a front 3 MP camera that can be used for the purpose of clicking self shots or making video calls.

  • Support for Bluetooth/WiFi wireless network connectivity .
  • Support for 2G/EDGE/3G/4G LTE network support and functionality and GPS Navigation/NFC.

    I think we have now variety of options before deciding any smartphone, however batter life is still a big concern and if Google nexus 5 can offer longer battery life then it could certainly attract huge number of users.
