Asus has extended its MeMo tablet series with the addition of two brand new tablets - MeMo pad 10 and the MeMo pad 8.These tablets have been announced and are expected to hit all major markets in the coming months. Both these tablets have a lot of similar features , similarities include a Quad Core processor , 1GB RAM , 1.2 MP Front camera , Android Jelly Bean O.S and the key points of differences between these two tablets are display,battery,weight,GPS Navigation support.The MeMo Pad 10 sports a 10” IPS LCD capacitive touch screen display , the MeMo Pad 8 has a smaller 8.0” LCD IPS capacitive display (Both these tablet have a on screen resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels).Talking about the weight and the battery , the Asus MeMo pad 10 is backed up with a 5070 mAh battery and weighs around 520-525 grams , the Asus MeMo pad 8 uses a 3950 mAh battery and weighs between 350-353 grams.GPS navigation is well supported in the Asus MeMo pad 10 and not in the Memo Pad 8..this is also a contrasting point between these two Asus tablets.Talking about the camera , both these tablets are equipped with a 1.2 MP front camera and a 5MP , 2MP rear camera respectively that can record 720p videos (with the support features like Geo tagging , Digital Zoom ..etc).Apart from the key features , both these tablets support features like Bluetooth, WiFi (with no support for FM Radio) and supports all popular media file (audio + video ) file formats .The MeMo pad 10 would come in two variants i.e 8 GB storage / 16 GB storage and the Asus MeMo Pad 8 could come an internal data storage capacity of 8GB (+ there’s a support for a 64GB MicroSD card ) which can be used to extend your tablets storage capacity.

Although the price of these two tablets has not been revealed , both these tablets are expected to be around 200 - 300 US$ (This is just an assumption) .
