LG is reportedly working on mid segment Firefox handset which is expected to be named as L25. The phone’s specifications and design have been leaked on Twitter by UPLeaks.
According to leaked details, LG L25 is powered with the latest version of Mozilla Firefox operating system. It packs with a 4.68 inch capacitive IPS touchscreen display. It features a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution (with an expected 312+ pixel density). The phone has a 10.5 millimeters thickness and 148 grams weight. Alleged L25 is installed with a satisfactory 1.5 GB RAM and a 16 GB storage.
It is equipped with 1.5/1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8926) processor. GPU is expected to be a single core Adreno 305. On the imaging side, LG L25 Firefox is fitted with a AF 8.0 MP back camera (with CMOS sensor). The backside also features a LED flash. Front side boasts a 2.1 MP snapper. L25 supports LTE, 3G, WiFi (b/g/n) connectivity. Its Bluetooth supports 5 modes of operations.
LG is expected to reveal this Firefox OS installed phone’s availability, pricing and launch date next month. If L25 would be launched, it will be the first high-end Firefox phone and 2nd from LG. The company had earlier launched FireWeb in Uruguay and Brazil. FireWeb features 4GB ROM, 5.0 MP WVGA display and a rear 5.0 MP camera.
