Canadian phone manufacturer who’s going through its worst phase of life has
officially announced a brand new Smartphone - The BlackBerry 9720 and would be
hoping to come back strong with it..This Smartphone would be running the old
and the famous BlackBerry Operating System -The BlackBerry 7.1 O.S and would have a 512 MB RAM, Although the
price of this Smartphone is yet to be revealed ,as per the specifications it
seems like this Smartphone would be available for a price around 10000-20000 RS
.Let’s see what this latest BlackBerry
phone has got in store for us:-
Display and weight:- Just like other BlackBerry phones ,
this Smartphone sportsa small 2.8 IPS capacitive touch screen display that has
a screen resolution of 480 by 360 pixels (with pixels per inch around 246) and
weighs around 120 grams. This would go well with people who prefer small screen
light weight smartphones.
Processor and the Operating System:-The BlackBerry 9720
would be equipped with a 806 MHz Marvel Tavor MG1 processor and as mentioned earlier,
this BlackBerry Smartphone would be running the BlackBerry 7.1 Operating System-Which
is certainly the most famous Operating System by BlackBerry.
Memory:- The memory department of the BlackBerry 9720
comprises of a main memory (RAM) of 512 MB and an internal data storage memory
of 512 MB which can be expanded upto 36.5 GB via a 32 GB MicroSD card.

Camera:- This Smartphone from BlackBerry has a 5MP rear
camera(with LED Flash, image Stabilization ,GEO tagging…etc) and lacks the front camera .
Battery and other features:-This is a single Smartphone from
BlackBerry that is backed up by a 1450 mAh battery (which would give a standby
time of 18 days and a talk time of 7 Hours to the BlackBerry 9720), measures 114
by 66 by 12 millimeters in Dimensions and would come with a Qwerty key pad. Apart
from all the above mentioned key features , the BlackBerry 9720 supports
features like 2G,EDGE,3G,MPR,MP4,MPG,AAC,3GP,WMA,WAV playback ,FM Radio ,Bluetooth
,WiFi ,GPS and comes loaded with some very useful applications.

Overall , specifications of the BlackBerry 9720 looks good ,The only thing that this smartphone lacks is the front camera which could have been used to easily make video calls.Anyways,
