Jivi, the domestic handset manufacturer has been trying to improve its entry level phone market share with JSP series of handsets and it has been successful so far. Last month, the company claimed that it is selling more than 3.0 lakh handsets every month.

Jivi’s popularity sky-rocketed after it introduced the JSP 20 for 1999 Rupees. Today, it has introduced 3 new dual-SIM phones with Kit Kat OS in the same series. Here are the details of the latest phones from Jivi.

JSP 47 from Jivi is a dual core 3G phone that supports WiFI, dual SIM connectivity. It is the latest Kit Kat device that comes with 5.0 back camera and 512 MB of RAM. It has VGA front camera, a large FWVGA 4.5 inch IPS touchscreen display, and 1650 mAh battery.

JiVi JSP 47 offers a total 36 GB of storage memory out of which 4GB space is available on the onboard ROM. It’s priced at Rs 4200.

Jivi entry level phones

Jivi JSP 38 and 29 are single core phones with 512 megabytes of internal storage and 256 MB RAM. Both these handsets feature microSD card expansion slot and VGA camera. JSP 38 has a good 4.0 inches display. It comes with 480 x 800 pixels resolution, 5 megapixels camera at the back and 1500 mAh capacity battery.

JSP 29 is equipped with 1450 mAh battery. It has a back 2.0 back camera and an HVGA 3.5 inch touchscreen display. JSP 38, 29 are priced at 3300 and 2999 Rupees respectively.

The above 3 entry level kit kat phones come with 3G, EDGE, and Bluetooth connectivity support. They include FM Radio, Android apps, and microUSB port. JSP 38 and 47 phones are a pretty good deal for their price as they’re being offered with 5.0 MP camera, latest OS and 4.0+ inch display.
